Open level means anyone from beginner to advanced practitioner is welcome. This is both an outdoor class and live virtual class, both at 5:30. The outdoor space will be social distanced.
As always, this practice is by donation and no one will be turned away for lack of funds! We all deserve yoga. Donations via Venmo @Village-Witch
Please be sure to have a block, blanket, and strap or belt for practice.
Mental Health Monday
1st Monday of every month at 7pm on Zoom
Mental Health Monday is a slow moving, gentle practice with a mix of Yin and Restorative Yoga, along with Mediation, designed to relax our body and mind. Yin and Restorative are comprised of longer held postures with support from blocks, bolsters, and blankets. The practice is soothing to our nervous system and also allows us to move more freely in our bodies.
Each month we discuss a different topic related to mental health and how it relates to yoga and our physical bodies.
Please note that I am not a therapist and this practice is not meant to treat or diagnose mental illness
Yoga Nidra - Pop ups to be announced
Yoga Nidra is an hour long relaxation process, scanning our bodies and systematically telling our muscles to rest. It’s an incredibly restorative practice and can help us rewrite some old neural pathways to make space in our brains for healthier ones.
